As founder, principal, and majority shareholder of Adviant, Paul's responsibilities are to provide Adviant colleagues with the tools and resources they need to deliver superior service and work products, to apply his experience in developing total rewards programs that support each client's business plan and HR management strategy, and to manage Adviant's business. He is well-versed in the design, implementation, funding, management, administration, and regulatory compliance of all employer-sponsored employee benefit programs. Paul's experience is diverse, working with public and private sector clients over the past 16 years. Paul's education in architectural planning and design influenced Adviant from inception. Architecture is a problem-solving discipline - so too is Adviant's approach to business.

Jonathan Scales - Principal

Jonathan is a CPA and holds a bachelor’s degree in financial planning and financial services and a master’s degree in accounting. Jonathan has significant human resources experience in executive and employee compensation and benefits, regulatory compliance, and employee relations. His work history also includes personal financial planning, auditing, accounting, taxation, and finance. Jonathan has held leadership positions in national consulting firms and in the human resources departments of communications, technology, and health care organizations. Jonathan’s industry experience includes, among others, manufacturing, consumer products, high-tech, health care, oil and gas, transportation, and telecommunications.
